Two Wisconsin resort properties have made an elite list of the top locations for golf and meeting-related events.
Meetings & Conventions magazine awarded the American Club in Kohler and Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva with its Gold Tee Award, given annually to outstanding golf/meeting properties worldwide. The 2009 Gold Tee list includes 74 domestic properties and 11 international properties.
The awards were given according to the opinions of the magazine’s 65,000 meeting-planner subscribers.
The American Club, operated by Kohler Co., offers its guests four 18-hole golf courses at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan and Blackwolf Run in Kohler. Grand Geneva Resort has two championship golf courses, the Brute and the Highlands.
