COURSE FEATURE
Fox Hills Resort was built in 1964 by Florenz Baugniet, a Mishicot mink rancher. He started the resort by opening a nine-hole golf course, pro shop, supper club and lounge.
After many additions and renovations, today’s Fox Hills Resort is a 500-acre resort with a fine 45 holes of challenging golf, including the 18-hole National course and the 27-hole Fox Creek course.
The 27-hole Fox Creek course surrounds the resort with villa-lined fairways, weeping willows and just enough water hazards to challenge the novice. An 18-hole Scottish links-style course, The National offers the challenges of vast sandy areas, sculptured mounds and double greens, along with 16 acres of water hazards. Named the “2007 Resort Course of the Year” by the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin, this course has tested the likes of Bob Hope as well as many touring professionals.
Once guests arrive on property, they never need to leave. Fox Hills Resort features 336 guest rooms and villa suites, four swimming pools, a fitness center, the Oasis Spa, the Willowview Restaurant and Benchwarmers Sports Bar, featuring daily food and drink specials and live weekend entertainment. The resort also offers golf stay-and-play packages.
Fox Hills also has 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and wedding space and offers picturesque outdoor ceremony sites, a beautiful indoor wedding chapel and elegant indoor reception sites.
