Marquette player Matt Haase of Brown Deer Park GC in Milwaukee held on to win his match over another UW player, Tyler Obermueller of River Falls CC, 1-up. Haase was dormie on the 16th tee, but Obermueller rallied to win the next two holes before being eliminated.

And in the final quarterfinal match on Wednesday, MU’s Ben Sieg of Osseo G&RC eliminated Bob Pyle of Oneida G&CC in Green Bay, 1-up.
