Any golfer will tell you that toughest part about golf is mastering the short game, particularly chipping. That’s why Milwaukee-based Chipping Masters, Inc. has come out with its first product, the Flip-n-Chip.
An aerodynamic, brightly-colored disc that can be tossed like a Frisbee, the Flip-n-Chip is out to replace the standard chipping net. The golfer simply walks out to his practice area, throws the Flip-n-Chip, and starts chipping. Once the golfer finishes chipping, he walks over to the balls, tosses the Flip-n-Chip again and repeats.
Unlike a chipping net, the Flip-n-Chip gives the golfer a visual so he knows where his shot lands.
“If you don’t see the ball bounce and roll, you will never know the quality of your shot,” said Flip-n-Chip creator Shane Geary.
Because the Flip-n-Chip lies flat to the ground, the golfer is able to watch the ball bounce and roll and see how it responds to the ground. This will help the golfer learn proper stroke speed and loft. The Flip-n-Chip also doubles as an indoor putting disc. For a Chip-n-Flip demonstration, visit youtube.com.
The Flip-n-Chip comes in two colors – fluorescent orange and fluorescent pink. It currently is on sale for $19.95 and can be purchased at chippingmasters.com.
