Steve Crowley has been named corporate hospitality sales manager for the 92nd PGA Championship, which will make its second visit to Whistling Straits in Kohler on Aug. 9-15, 2010.
Crowley brings a long and successful history of sales and marketing experience to the PGA of America and the PGA Championship. Crowley’s golf background began in 1998 at Cordillera GC in Vail, Colo., and continued into the 2004 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits, where he worked as a volunteer and honed his skills on the sales side of a major golf championship. During the past six years, Crowley has been involved in nearly 30 golf tournaments.
“Steve has a very impressive sales background and tenacious business acumen that makes him the perfect fit for the PGA of America,” said Barry Deach, the tournament’s championship director. “Steve is a great leader who has a tremendous ability to cultivate relationships with guests who are interested in making the 2010 PGA Championship a first-class experience.”
