The Brainerd Golf Trail encompasses 10 golf courses within a 45-minute drive of each other in woodsy central Minnesota. The area, surrounded by numerous lakes and big timber, has been called one of the top 50 golf destinations in the world by Golf Digest magazine.
The golf facilities include Golden Eagle GC in Fifty Lakes, Cragun’s Legacy Courses in Brainerd, Grand View Lodge in Nisswa and Breezy Point Resort in Breezy Point. Players have their choice of five different lodging options.
Numerous packages are offered spring through fall. For example, a current package offered at Grand View Lodge includes a two-night stay and breakfast both mornings, an 18-hole round on the Pines course, an 18-hole round on the Preserve course, an 18-hole round on another Brainerd Golf Trail course of the player’s choice, unlimited golf at Grand View’s nine-hole Garden course and unlimited range balls for $299 (midweek) per person, based on double occupancy. The weekend rate is $339.
Depending on the specific package selected, players will also have the opportunity to enjoy activities ranging from great fishing to relaxing spa services.
