In Super-Senior competition, Ron Brischke of Bridges GC in Madison and David Grams of Nakoma GC in Madison teamed up to shoot 72-73–145 and beat two other teams by one stroke. Archie Dadian of Whitnall Park GC in Hales Corners and Chuck Pehlivanian of Meadowbrook CC in Racine, the defending champions, were in second place at 2-over 146 (74-72) with Mike Smolinski and Chet Sobol (72-74) of Spring Valley CC in Salem.
