Aicher named player of the year

The boys all-state high school golf teams were announced recently by the Wisconsin High School Golf Coaches Association. Leading the first team is Anthony Aicher, selected by the WHSGCA as 2009 player of the year.

Aicher, who recently completed his senior year at Wausau East, was the medalist in June at the WIAA Boy’s High School Golf Championships. He will join the University of Wisconsin golf team this fall. Following are the boy’s all-state golf selections:
